Workshop Market Place

The Workshop's Market Place is opened to businesses interested in offering their services to the community. Such businesses should agree to offer their services at a discount without a diminished level of service or with an added value to the members beyond what they offer to the general public. Such businesses should also agree to financially support the Non-Profit Fund.

It is not the intent to flood the Workshop with products and services. It is more the intent of offering products that are purchased regularly by the community at a discount.

Every business will receive a web page that would clearly describe its offering to the members of the Workshop and its contribution to the Non-Profit Fund. The relationship with the Workshop might be different from one business to another and will very likely be governed by rules and regulations that are imposed on the business by its own bylaws or other governing laws. In any case, the relationship will be clearly outlined in the business’ web page. 

The businesses participating in the Market Place are to be considered a third party. The transactions between the membership and such third party are outside the control of the Workshop. The Workshop cannot be help liable as a consequence by either the members or the businesses for any losses of any nature.

Any business that does not live up to its commitments to the members and the Non-Profit Fund will be stopped from doing business through the Workshop as soon as such default is known to the management. The membership will be informed of such default. The management will make a reasonable effort to recover funds owed to the Non-Profit Fund, as a first priority, but cannot be compelled to go beyond what the management and management alone deems reasonable in the recovery of such funds.

The Workshop Market Place will be starting with few services and is expected to grow. We welcome suggestions of services and of companies interested in conducting business with the community.
