Petition Form & Procedure The community is allowed to increase the number of Non-Profit organizations on the list. This option will be opened after 6 months of the start of operations. A petition method would be provided to the community in order to facilitate this process and meet the requirements of accurate and honest petitioning. New Non-Profits will be listed if they receive 1% percent of the community Associate members. Over-zealousness and fraudulent petitioning will be countered with sanctions. The sanctions with the respect to the Non-profit listed in the petition could be barring from as little as 1 voting cycle and not to exceed 2 voting cycles. Also, to prevent a small group from hijacking the petitioning process, and, in order to allow others to get involved, the process will be monitored, if only a small group of members is active, the management reserves the right to limit the member to petition for a single non profit per six months cycle. Barred
Non-profits will have to undergo a new petitioning procedure. New
Non-profits should qualify under US tax code 501 C3 prior to a vote date and would be
added immediately after the vote date to be included in the next voting. The management will conduct surveys among the petitioners to insure accuracy. The less accurate a petition process is, the more severe the sanctions would be. Work in Progress, target completion of this page mid Nov. 2003
